About Paul Seeley
A summa cum laude graduate of Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, Paul Seeley studied philosophy and politics there before continuing on to the University of California, Los Angeles, to pursue a degree in law. He earned his J.D. from the university in 2007. Subsequently, Paul Seeley accepted a position with Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton, LLP, as an associate in the Business Trials Practice Group.
Since joining the Los Angeles law firm, Mr. Seeley has handled a wide variety of cases, including insurance litigation, real estate disputes, and products liability. However, he primarily focuses on consumer class actions and continues to write on this topic, addressing issues of class action litigation within the food and beverage industry.
Among other accomplishments, Paul Seeley assisted a trial team in winning more than $50 million for a client targeted by a workers' compensation insurance fraud scheme. He also participates in his firm's philanthropic work, such as supporting the adoption of children within California's foster care system.
